After researching on the APP site, I decided what I thought I would need and purchased a new Gasket, Gasket Insert, Left & Right Corner Baffles from APP. The parts were shipped immediately. Removed old bellow following procedures found on relevant Youtube videos. Reinstalling however was more of a challenge. Getting the rear seal of the new bellow on the washer housing was not as easy as the videos indicated. The key to that process is being sure the seal is well lubricated which is not quite apparent from the videos but is essential success. Bought this door gasket and watched the video, very easy if you just take your time and start in one corner and go to the opposite corner. this way it stretches the seal completely into each corner. do as the video says and it will go great. Read more

Ordered boot, nozzle, and inner spring for boot. Would have ordered outer, but the schematic for parts made it very difficult to navigate to locate parts...24 hr/next day air and I have a happy wife. The only thing that would have made it easier, was having a pair of Spring Expansion pliers, be careful not to pinch inner boot! My co-worker bought a house to flip and gave me the refrigerator. I'd been looking for a garage refrigerator to store water, cola, etc in. Fridge was essentially fine but I sanded and painted one side which had rust spots. Turned out like new. The door seal was moldy and didn't seal properly. I took the cover off the transmission and determined that the only possible knocking had to be coming from the yoke. I ordered a new yoke and all the tub seals needed to put it back together like new. I also ordered a new drive pulley bearing because this bearing is always turning whenever the washer is used. The homeowner kept getting AE flood code on a 2 yr old LG dishwasher. Changed the gasket at the bottom of the door. ordered the $25 part AP 6236867 and the door seal AP6981193 ($22) for a complete job. I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. Following the video on the Appliance Pro Parts website, I re-installed the new seal and put the door back on. Last step was to snap on the new hinge cap I ordered. Took the whole dryer apart to access the wheels (4) of them, belt and fan wheel, also had to clean all the lint out that somehow builds up inside the dryer. Plus cleaned out dryer duct vent, added to the time involved. If you are planning on fixing the dryer because of a noise which was in my case, I highly recommend buy all the parts for complete maintenance mentioned above. What helped save me time?
