Replace your cracked, broken, or missing refrigerator door bin. Snaps into place on the door interior for storing condiments, jars, and bottles.
Maybe 6 or 7 years ago I had a fridge conk out on me just before Christmas. It was loaded with food for the holiday, including a prime rib roast that was the hope and dream of the holiday for every red-blooded non-vegan in the house. In order to save the day I bottom-dollared a Frigidaire replacement. It performs well temperature-wise, but when it was only a couple years old the door handle cracked wide open. It was so delicate, you'd think that it was a movie prop "Break-Away Refrigerator... Read more
Four-piece suspension rod kit connects washer drum to frame. Replace if rods are broken, worn, or springs have weakened causing excessive drum movement.
After looking up the model number of my washing machine on AppliancePartsPros.com I ordered the suspension rod kit, two sets of tub centering springs (one spring per corner), a Ring-Tub (mine was breaking apart due to banging around) and a spare suspension bearing kit in case I need it later. I spoke to a very helpful customer service rep on the phone just before placing my order. They have customer service representatives answering the phone late at night. I was surprised. All of my parts were... Read more
Washer making loud grinding noise during spin or agitation? Drive clutch kit repairs worn clutch assembly. Moderate DIY repair, typically 30-45 minutes.
Replaced washer drive block and Cam. I called around and finally settled on Appliance Parts Pros because they helped diagnose the problem, told me what parts to replace and had videos to show me how to do it. In completing the repair I had to remove quite a few pieces of hardware in order to get at the part I was to replace. The videos helped but there is a learning curve while you familiarize yourself with the parts and figure out how the remove them. Eventually I got to a large nut that,... Read more

The Dryer Front Bearing Drum Slide (Green, 2-Pack) is an OEM replacement part for GE dryers. These slides are located on the front panel of the dryer and work to support the drum as it rotates. The green slides are designed to reduce friction between the drum and the panel, ensuring smooth operation and helping to prolong the life of the appliance.
Over time, these slides can wear out due to constant movement, heat, and friction. When worn or damaged, the drum may not rotate as intended, leading to noise and reduced efficiency.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
We cleaned out all ducts carefully and did other basic troubleshooting but it did not help. Began to research the problem on-line and discovered that this dryer has two heating elements. One can fail while the other continues to provide heat - but with a large impact on drying time. Watched youtube videos and how to take apart the dryer to reach the heating coils. Tested the heating elements for continuity with tester and the outer loop had no continuity indicating it was broken somewhere. ... Read more

Oven not heating or baking unevenly? This lower bake element restores proper oven temperature. DIY-friendly repair takes about 20 minutes to install.
Of course, these things always seem to happen on a holiday! Luckily we were not having guests for dinner - so quickly changed our eating plans for the evening. I went directly online and Googled "Bake elements for GE ovens". At first I did not think I would have luck finding this part because of the oven's age. AppliancePartsPros.com was one of the service dealers listed first and catered specifically to GE appliances and parts. So, I typed in the Model number and low and behold, a screen... Read more
Idler pulley maintains belt tension in your dryer drum assembly. Replace if the wheel is cracked, bracket is broken, or pulley has worn bearings.
I am very glad to find the AppliancePartsPros.com website! Their instructional videos and easy parts reference made all the difference. I had originally planned to have someone come to fix my dryer, but no one was available for at least a week. I checked out their site, and after watching the videos I felt confident I could repair my appliance. I determined that a drum roller wheel had gone bad. Apparently it was going bad over the last five years since the dryer always seemed to rattle a... Read more
Replace your freezer door gasket to restore an airtight seal and prevent frost buildup. Worn or torn gaskets let warm air in, causing ice formation and soft food. Confirm fit with your model number before ordering.
Frost & ice were building up inside the top of our upright freezer, so I replaced the door gasket. First I'll make my long story short, then I'll tell the longer story for those who might be interested and might benefit from my experience. Short version - The whole project took about three hours, but less than an hour of that would have been required if I were more of a handyman and if the freezer hadn't had prior work done on the door for the same frost buildup problem. Long version - When... Read more
Seals the gap between the dishwasher tub and door bottom to prevent water leaks. Replace if you notice leaking at the door base or visible wear.
The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!? The bottom Door Seal/Gasket was badly worn, and the entire job took me around 30 minutes which included the detailed cleaning of the mating flanges. Take your... Read more
Ice maker not producing ice or overflowing? This complete ice maker assembly replaces failed units. Easy 15-minute DIY install with video guide included.
My first hour: I investigated first by pulling out refridgerator to see if the water line hose was kinked. I started under the kitchen sink where it begins, coming from faucet water supply. Then I followed it to the back of the fridge to see if anything looked odd. Next I went to the ice maker itself. I investigated the ice maker by removing the freezer food sliding tray and hanging tray, and then unscrewing the door off the slides. When I looked inside at the ice maker, I saw the tube where... Fix a washer that won't spin or agitate with this drive hub kit. Transfers power from motor to basket. Moderate DIY repair with video guide included.
I watched a video on YouTube that showed my exact problem. It had a link to this part AP5665171 Hub and it showed how to fix it. It was a fairly simple fix. I did not even have to remove the tub. I popped the cap on top of the agitator plate (AGP), removed the bolt hold the AGP on. I tapped on the bolt several time to loosen it. Using an angled screw driver, carefully and slowly lifted up the edges of the AGP until I could use my fingers to carefully pull the AGP off the splined drive... Read more
Fix E1 error codes or overheating issues with this dryer thermistor. Monitors temperature to prevent shutdowns. DIY repair takes about 30 minutes.
I am not an electrician, just a housewife with limited funds and a desire to DIY. I used the provided videos for knowing how to replace everything except the heating element which I just guessed based on other reviews and seeing how the other parts worked. Our dryer is 11 years old Whirlpool Gold HE and I have only ever cleaned the lint tray. My husband replaced the belt about five years ago and he did clean out the inside of the dryer. Started by ordering a thermal fuse because it was... Read more

A couple of years ago, I had an issue with my Whirlpool washer which is every bit of 18 years old. Ice maker stopped making ice? This complete ice maker assembly resolves no ice production and leaking issues. Easy DIY install with video guide included.
Well, I got online and found several YouTube videos on how to check what was happening. I have a multimeter and tools. I first replaced the external water filter just to make sure it wasn't that, and it needed it. That wasn't the problem. I then removed the water inlet valve which was really easy. I didn't disconnect the water lines but I did unplug the power plug. Using the ohms setting on the meter, I tested the coil of the valve solenoid. It wasn't open. I checked the voltage at the plug... Supports the front of your dryer drum for smooth, quiet rotation. Replace if you hear squeaking or grinding noises. Confirm fit with your model number.
I followed the directions I found on YouTube for removing the front of the dryer. It was fairly easy, with two screws to remove the top and another two to remove the front. Just use a hand Phillips screwdriver, you will have difficulty using a typical power screwdriver due to space limitations. Watch the tabs on the top that engage with the control panel. Push the top to the left to disengage. I broke one of the three. One connector and two fastons needed to be disconnected on the front. ... Read more
