Rather than replacing the whole ignition switch harness, I cut out the broken switch and replaced it with Burner Ignition Switch WB24K10017 / AP2632529. Wire stripper, small wire nuts, and electrical tape were also used. At first, the new switch was constantly on when the knob was in the off position. The gas valve shaft has a "U" shape. Removed rocker switch,made up jumper so the compactor could be used while awaiting replacement switch. The part came 2 days later and was installed in less tha 5 minutes. Unit working like new again. Thanks for the great service!! Read more

I followed the video AppliancePartsPros.com provided. Had the old part out and the new part installed in less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately, the part did not work. I used my multimeter on the switch and it did not have continuity. I called AppliancePartsPros and they immediately took care of me and sent another switch. Our water started to hesitate before dispensing. This happened for about a week and then it stopped dispensing altogether.
