Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. I ordered a new solenoid and when it arrived, I installed it as follows: I cut the power to the refrigerator. I then pulled off the rubber boot (and it's plastic frame) that covers the water switch. Then I removed the bezel that covers the front of the ice maker controls by pulling it straight out. Then I removed the four screws found on the assembly under the bezel. I cleaned all the jet nozzles with a toothpick and a pipe cleaner to remove the hard water deposits. I then replace the ring bearing under the bottom spray wand and the ring bearing under the upper spray wand. I also replaced the smaller radial ring bearing.
