Replace your washer door boot seal to stop leaks and prevent mildew. This rubber gasket creates a watertight seal between drum and door. Confirm fit.
I took apart the washer to find both of the weight balancers had broken in 2 and were banging around. They had also caused the boot seal to rip. I removed the broken weight balancers and replaced them along with a new boot seal. There was one small spot with the seal wasn't fully attached to the outer drum so I had to take it back apart to fix that minor error on my part. Otherwise, it was a fairly easy fix. Read more

My front loader LG washing machine wasn’t working correctly. The clothes were either coming out unwashed or completely dripping. When turning the washer on it would start up like normal and the turn off a few minutes in. Initially it was not displaying an error code, this made it very difficult to diagnose. One of the kids started a load not knowing we are having issues and it started making a clunking cringing noise, when I went to investigate the EL code was up. A few YouTube videos later... Read more

Gasket for upper wheel.
With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY)... Read more

Fix leaking during rinse or spin cycles with this washer check valve ball. Prevents water siphoning and maintains proper water levels. Easy DIY repair.
Replacing the upper nozzle connector did the trick. I could not see damage in the older upper nozzle, it is possible that I could have fixed this just by tightening the parts - but i am happy I purchased both the upper nozzle and check valve ball, it feels good to have installed brand new parts in the washer. First of all, I want to say that this is not the first time that I have used AppliancePartsPros. They give you everything you need in the most simplified manner to repair your appliances at home. I ran my washer until I started to see the leak coming from underneath. After verifying that the intake hoses, drain hose and pump were not leaking, I opened up the washer from the top by unscrewing the two screws on the back brackets and lifting up and out. Because the leak was displaying at the... Read more
Fix a washer that fills but won't spin or agitate. This motor start capacitor stores electrical energy to help start your washer motor. DIY repair.
I was actually getting an error code for the shifter and speed sensor. I ordered a shifter, which included the speed sensor, and replaced that part but the washer still didn't work. After doing some more research online, someone mentioned that the capacitor may be bad. After talking to my dad, who is an electrician, he said it sounded like my problem could very well be the capacitor. Knowing that we'd been without a washer for almost two weeks at this point, I went ahead and ordered the... Read more
Structural bracket that secures the rear panel to the washer chassis. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing to restore proper alignment and cabinet stability.
In the end, with a new coupler. But I relearned old lessons the hard way. The washer is in a rental unit and the tenant complained of no spin. My first intuition was that the coupler failed again because I bought a cheaper one elsewhere a couple of years ago and not the brand name available here at AppliancePartsPros. But we’ll come back to that. Lesson #1: Verify the symptoms firsthand. I dug in right away, popped out the motor and the coupler appeared okay. When I spun it by hand, it turned... Read more
