This is an adjustable mounting bracket assembly used to secure a dryer to a laundry pedestal. It provides stable attachment and proper alignment between the dryer and the pedestal base. Replace this bracket if it is bent, broken, or missing, which can cause the dryer to shift or sit unevenly on the pedestal.
Because of the design of the plates holding my LG dryer on it's pedestal (screws on the pedestal and two face tape on the dryer end of the plates), I needed to order a set of replacement plates.
