Pulled the washer apart (using your videos as a refresher) and found that the plastic coupling between the motor and the transmission had failed. Searched for parts vendors and found your site. Ordered the coupling on-line and went back down to clean up the machine. In the cleaning process I found a damaged thrust washer for the upper agitator and broken drive dogs for that same agitator. I had to replace the drive shaft and the lower agitator. The motor coupling was also worn out. The repair was challenging because I had to rebuild the gear box. This step was really messy and I had to wait for the liquid gasket to set prior to completing the repair. Cleaning and prep of all of the parts tripled the repair time. Read more

It was a fast fix. its a Maytag Centennial Top load washer. it took me about 20mins to remove the pump and instal the new one.Most of the time was spent moving the washer. Read more

First went through the troubleshooting guide on the website and read the various stories and watched the repair videos for replacing the springs and suspension pads. Then before ordering any parts disassembled the machine only to the point of removing the cabinet to see if there were any obvious issues. The washing machine would allow you to program it, and all the lights on the control panel would light up, but pressing start did nothing. I tried putting the washer in diagnostic mode, but was unable to do so. The machine was not showing any fault code. I originally thought it was a problem with the 'Start' button and I thought that I'd buy a replacement part from the original seller of the washer. • Will not drain

It was a relatively easy fix. Removed the small access panel at the back of the washing machine after unplugging the unit. The pump is right there. Disconnected the two hoses to the pump, catching some water with towels. Removed three retaining screws, then realized I had not disconnected the belt from under the unit. Easy fix, tilted the unit and disconnected the belt. Put in the new pump , connected the hoses, then reconnected the belts. Works like new! Read more

I replaced the gasket. Removing the old one was not easy. I used a razor knife to cut out most of it. And then I used rubbing alcohol to soften the remaining glue and scrapped it out with a small blade screwdriver Read more

Ordered the valve body from Appliance Parts Pro. It was very easy to find the part on their website. Ordering was simple. The part actually got here the next day. I received an email about 2 hours after I received the part that contained the tracking number. That is what is known as quick and reliable service. Removed the screws, lifted the old lid out of the hinges. Replaced the hinges, set new lid in the hinges and replaced screws. Read more

• Leaking

In reality, this turned into a full-on rebuild project - with several parts orders, not just a simple repair.
