The right door seal and the freezer door seal are easily removed and replaced. They just pull out of the slot. These 2 new gaskets push in easily. The left door has the French Door Mullion, that blocks the removal of the door gasket. There are two screws in the middle that holds it on, and there is a spring at the bottom of the mullion that keeps the mullion in place. The spring can easily be removed, or left in place. • Fridge too warm

Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts. Read more

I followed a video to remove the inside door panel and gasket. Putting the new gasket was as easy as the video said. The only problem was ice had built up on the inside of the door panel that needed to be defrosted. Read more

So this is a poor design in the first case. Not having a center support in the back almost guarantees a failure there eventually. I kludged together a support in my original more than a year ago, but finally the part broke too bad to limp along with anymore. This is the part I needed. Unplug refrigerator. Use non marring (plastic trim stick) tool to gently pry loose the plastic assembly containing the PCB display beginning at the lower edge and proceeding around the outer edge. Disconnect all connectors and note the routing of each wire harness and connector (take pictures on cellphone as necessary). We turned off the circuit breaker. We then removed the light cover and then the control panel. We disconnected the Keyboard, Utah, plugged in the new one and turned the breaker on to see if everything worked. We realized that we did not need a new jazz board so that is being returned. Originally we tried some clear packing tape — we keep the refrigerator very clean and it was becoming ridiculous. So we ordered the parts from appliancepartspros.com. • Ice maker dispenses too much ice

Ordered new tube part AJR56656503 for Lg LFX25978ST/01 watched a lot of videos but none showed how to remove the door tube end from its connection so I just cut and spliced the new tube to the old under the cover for the door hinge area after feeding it from the back of frig to that area. Used U-Tube diagnostic clips to diagnose that most likely problem was a worn Evaporator Fan Motor which is located in the freezer back wall, located in the top third of the unit. I removed 6 hex head screws from the freezer's interior back panel that covers the evaporator coils. The cover is located in the lower 2/3s of the back wall. Removed all shelving.
