Since I could not find the correct thermistor from the schematic provided, I ordered the thermistor harness for the evaporator. I cut the harness and spliced it to the sheared thermistor wires on the roof of the freezer compartment. It now works fine with a little "farmer ingenuity" help. This is the rubber door gasket that seals the freezer door to the cabinet, preventing warm air from entering and cold air from escaping. It attaches along the perimeter of the door and creates an airtight seal when the door is closed. Replace this gasket if you notice frost buildup inside the freezer, the door doesn't seal tightly, the compressor runs constantly, or the gasket is cracked, torn, or warped.
