It even included tips on critical steps so the wires won't slip back inside the hole and save you from hours of possible mistake. Then I ordered the part. • Will not fill with water

First I cleared the food chopper area. There were things there, bits of plastic for instance, but it wasn't the reason for the dishes not getting sprayed off. Ordered a replacement part off another site that came in with an incorrect molded connection to the Spray Arm. The part broke my tabs on the Spray Arm and instead I bought both parts from this site. Both items were correct and resolved the issue. Read more

Bought new Transmission/gear box. Putting in the new one was easy. Taking the old one out was a nightmare. The corrosion on the spanner nut and drive block was awful. Ten years of VERY hard water and six kids made for a lot of corrosion and hard water crystallization. I do not own a spanner wrench. I am not sure having one would've helped. So this is a poor design in the first case. Not having a center support in the back almost guarantees a failure there eventually. I kludged together a support in my original more than a year ago, but finally the part broke too bad to limp along with anymore. This is the part I needed. We turned off the circuit breaker. We then removed the light cover and then the control panel. We disconnected the Keyboard, Utah, plugged in the new one and turned the breaker on to see if everything worked. We realized that we did not need a new jazz board so that is being returned. The old Keyboard was removed, the new one attached and all the parts were put back. The frig works fine now at the recommended settings of zero and 38F. Read more

• Marks left on clothes

After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Apparently my older Whirlpool dryer has a somewhat ambiguous model number because the rollers that were shipped each time looked nothing like the originals. I replaced all 3 remaining burner controls because they were all original (mid 1970s GE electric range w/coil burners), and one of the controls occasionally made arcing sounds when cycling the burner on and off. I followed a video to remove the inside door panel and gasket. Putting the new gasket was as easy as the video said. The only problem was ice had built up on the inside of the door panel that needed to be defrosted. Read more

1. Ordered new gasket. 2. Heated with blow dryer gasket until it resumed its normal shape. 3. Turned off refrig. 4. Cleaned freezer compartment. 5. Removed old gasket. 6. Installed new gasket. 7. Turned on refrig. 8, Operation back to normal in about 6 hours. Read more
