  I replaced the stirrer fan cover and fan, which had some carbon and slight burn marks on it. It was difficult to remove the fan cover as it did not rotate. I had to pry it off with a flat blade screwdriver, breaking the plastic tabs on the cover (which was being discarded anyway).   This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets).
