This is a stacked unit so it comes apart a little different. you DO NOT have to remove the dryer unit to remove the tub assembly.the top front cabinet brace is held on with 6 screws.remove this along with the suspension rods the tub assembly comes straight out the front of the machine. From making repairs on other clothes washers, I was confident that some of those potential causes could have been the cause.
