Replaced igniter and orifice assembly, and replaced spark module. Used the video for help, but the video doesn't show the top cover piece that needs to be taken off first. Also the screws for the igniter set were stuck from old grease or something and had to be drilled out. Overall the project was well worth my time for the cost vs replacement decision. My tenant thought that the oven safety valve was bad, but after some research, I found that the transfer of heat from the igniter had to be sufficient enough to cause the valve to open.Your agent confirmed this and reassured me that even if the igniter was glowing, there was a 99% chance that it wasn't getting hot enough. Once I watched the video on your site about gas line install, it became apparent why the line bent when I raised the lid.. also discovered those two rods have nest to go into and the lid/top now sets down tight as designed ( and as an added bonus, gas smell disappeared during oven use) I ordered the gas lines with the model number, ordered all four …. it was a bit of a chore one came up when site opened I picked it, but did not know if it was the RH or LH etc.. so reading some of your answers... Replaced the regulator with part #AP5802175. Watched the video when purchasing, and it was spot on. Would have taken me about 15-20 minutes if I had access to a vise, to remove one of the fittings. Was able to get it out using two wrenches, but it was not without a bit of elbow grease. The new part went in easily. Turned on valve on regulator, plugged in the power, turned on the gas valve, done. Everything worked fine. Easy job for anyone with just a few tools. Read more

Ordered correct replacement parts (your online form helped to identify correct valves 2 had black dot on inside stem for back small burner 1 had red dot for larger front burner). locked stove, turned off gas, unplugged cord. removed knobs, 5 screws and front plate also removed L shaped plate below knobs for better access to comp. fittings. pulled off ignitior controls loosened compression fittings (hard to get wrench on nut but doable), removed screw holding valve to manifold. reversed order... I replaced the burner head. I turned off power to the stove, although I did not turn off the gas. I gave the old burner head a slight twist counter-clockwise until it lifted off the stove. I used the pliers to pull the wires from the old burner, then placed them onto the contacts on the new burner. Set it in place, and gave it a clockwise twist until it was snug. I replaced the old burner with the new burner assembly which included the ignighter. The screw that held the old ignighter was frozen into the old burner such that just the ignighter could not be replaced. Be care full removing the screws to the burner as they also may be frozen and tend to snap off instead of unscrewing. You will need to drill an tap new holes. Read more
