A rotary selector switch that accepts the control knob and routes user selections to the appliance control circuitry, restoring reliable selection of functions and settings when the original selector fails or becomes intermittent. What it does:
I replaced an infinite switch and a simmer select switch. Read more
A replacement switch/ignitor that restores spark ignition so gas burners or the oven will light reliably. Designed to replace a failed ignition switch and help recover consistent sparking for normal appliance operation. What it does:
Replaced igniter under each burner knob. Used needle nose pliers to remove the electrical connections (2) of the igniter then slipped it off the gas valve shaft. Replaced with new igniter (click in place) and replaced electrical connectors. Took about 15 minutes to complete. Read more
Replacement potentiometer that restores precise control of appliance settings by regulating resistance in the control circuit. Use it when a rotary control is unresponsive or produces inconsistent settings for reliable operation. What it does:
Replacement energy regulator that helps control power delivery to the appliance's heating and control circuits, restoring stable performance and addressing power-related faults. Installs in-line with the factory wiring to replace a failed regulator. What it does:
Actually we called Sears repair and they did a good job diagnosing and fixing the problem (Jacob). But they never supplied the part after more than a month, so we got the number from them and ordered it ourselves from you. We had already paid for it, so had them do the work. We would have fixed it ourself but could not figure out how to lift up the entire range top and videos we found were for a totally different stove top and we had no information how to get to the part to replace it. This infinite top burner control switch restores variable heat control to an electric range burner so the cooktop responds correctly to knob settings. It replaces a worn or faulty rotary control for simmer-to-high temperature adjustment. What it does:
This right-side burner switch controls heat output on the cooktop so burners respond correctly to your knob settings. It restores proper power and temperature control for a single right-side heating element. What it does:
I replaced the burner switches, since we had been having trouble with specific burners igniting unless another burner was tuned on. Then I replaced the spark module since the flame and the burner being turned off were not being detected and burners would not re-light if the flame went out. Read more
This wire harness connects the control/switch assembly to the appliance's thermal cutoff and control circuits, restoring reliable electrical connections for proper operation. It's a direct-fit replacement when the original wiring is damaged or corroded. What it does:
I researched similar problems online, especially youtube. The ignition harness seemed to be the problem. I ordered it here, and received it within 2 days. Maybe I was lucky, but It took only about 15 minutes to replace on my unit. Stove is back to working as expected. Read more
Ordered a new switch and replaced the switch. However, I kept the switch and fixed the stuck relay so that if the new one does the same thing after being used for a while ,I can just swap the switches and fix the stuck relay again. I will be able to repeat this process over and over and not have to buy any more switches. Read more
This burner switch controls the power and heat settings for a surface cooking element, restoring reliable on/off operation, accurate temperature selection, and consistent element cycling on compatible electric ranges. What it does
For switch mounting nut, order part# WP422617.
This replacement part looks nothing like the original because the original is two parts, the replacement is one part. The original has a switch with 3 wires coming out of it that go into a "block" screwed to the bottom tray. And this "block" has 2 wires that come out of it going to the fan. With the replacement, the block is eliminated and the 2 wires go directly to the switch. Easy install. Read more
This infinite control switch governs the heat output of an electric cooktop burner, letting you select variable heat settings for precise cooking. Replaces a worn or non-responsive burner control to restore smooth temperature control. What it does:
I took off the glass top and replaced the switches. Now is working perfect. Read more
This infinite switch controls the variable heat settings for a cooktop surface burner, restoring adjustable heating for smooth cooking. It replaces a failed control to help the burner reach and hold selected temperature levels. What it does
Being cautious, I ordered new burner controls (infinity switches) for the front two burners. I installed them and was very happy with the results. The new controls allowed me to increase or decrease the amount of heat without what you might call thermal runaway (A sudden switch to full-on). Encouraged, I ordered two more burner controls and installed them for the back two burners. I have not yet tested them extensively, but I am confident that I now have four functioning burners. This burner ignitor switch controls spark delivery to a cooktop burner so the burner lights when the knob is turned. It replaces a worn or failed switch to restore ignition responsiveness and consistent sparking. What it does:
I installed two burner ignitions under the knobs then installed a new spark module, which I had to order from a different vendor as this is a 20+ year old Caloric stove. Fortunately this spark module is used in many other appliances. Read more
