The Lawn Mower Spindle Assembly is an OEM part for MTD lawn mowers Located in the mower's lower deck, the spindle assembly connects the blade to the drive belt. This enables the mower to cut grass effectively. This assembly is comprised of an adapter and a spindle. It gets activated as a pulley spins the drive belt. While designed to withstand minor impacts, larger or harder objects may cause damage. Damage can lead to blade misalignment or detachment.

You should replace the spindle assembly if it becomes damaged due to impacts with rocks, roots, or other hard objects, or if it wears out over time from regular use. A faulty spindle assembly can lead to uneven cuts, excessive vibration, and potential damage to other mower components.

Symptoms of a bad spindle assembly include:

A side discharge chute is engineered to move the debris away from the machine's underside. This is because grass that is not only long and thick but also moist can get trapped and clog the deck and the blades. When this happens, you will have to stop to clear the accumulated clippings periodically. To mitigate clogging and maximize cutting, using a side discharge chute is ideal. When a side discharge chute is installed, but clogging still occurs, there might be a problem with the chute itself. It can be torn or already loose. Luckily, installing a brand-new side discharge chute is easy and will take less than 5 minutes. Start the installation by removing the spark plug. The engine should be cool to the touch. Then, lift and hold the mulch cover up. Take the brand-new side discharge chute and hook the tabs on to the hinge pins. Then, release the mulch cover. MTD manufactures this brand-new side discharge chute. It is an original replacement with Craftsman, MTD, Murray, Yard-Man, Yard Machines, Bolens, Huskee, and Mastercut lawnmowers. It comes in solid plastic material with a black finish. This side chute is sold individually.

This cold control thermostat regulates your refrigerator's temperature by cycling cooling on and off based on air temperature at the sensing bulb. Replacing a worn control restores accurate settings and consistent cooling performance. What it does:

This fuel tank assembly stores fuel. It is made from a thick plastic material. The assembly includes the fuel tank, fuel cap, and fuel lines. Although it is generally durable, exposure to fuel chemicals and the environment can eventually cause fuel tank leaks. When this happens, the fuel leak may damage other components. To install a new tank assembly, make sure to drain the old tank first. Detach the fuel lines and then use a screwdriver to remove its mounting screws. This replacement will take less than 10 minutes to complete. MTD makes this brand-new fuel tank assembly. This replacement includes the tank itself, the fuel lines, fuel cap, and mounting screws. All of which are sourced directly from MTD. It is compatible with string trimmer models from Bolens, Yard-Man, Murray, Craftsman, Yard Machines, MTD, Cub Cadet, and Troy-Bilt. This fuel tank assembly doesn't include the original MTD air filter.

This steering gear is an integral part of the guidance mechanism for riding mowers and lawn tractors. This gear meshes with the turning mechanism of the wheels, connecting the front axle to the steering column. The constant, short diameter turning of riding mowers puts a tremendous amount of pressure on the steering pinion gear as well as the steering plate, causing the teeth of each of these parts to wear out. Over time, the steering will become less responsive until eventually the drive wheels will not respond at all when the steering wheel is turned. This is usually an indication that the steering pinion gear is stripped and must be replaced. Replacing this gear involves removing the nut and bolt that fix the gear to the mowing housing. Often, the bushing that sits beneath the pinion gear also needs to be replaced because of wear, and this is the best time to do that, as well. It's also a good idea to see if the steering plate teeth are also worn, as this is the ideal time to replace it as well. All parts should be replaced with genuine OEM parts, manufactured, as this replacement part is, according the specs of the original part. A carburetor is responsible for combining fuel and air into the right combustible mixture. When it is malfunctioning, there are several warning signs to look out for. These include poor fuel economy, rough idle, flooding, and engine misfire. Installing a brand-new carburetor can help. A carburetor replacement is easy and starts with turning off the lawnmower. Open its air filter cover and use a screwdriver to remove the air filter base. Once detached, disconnect the throttle cable and fuel line. Place the new carburetor and connect the fuel line and the throttle cable. Put back the air filter base. This is a brand-new and original MTD carburetor. It is compatible with tillers, leaf blowers, and string trimmers from MTD, Bolens, Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, Yard-Man, and Yard Machines. This carburetor is fully assembled and sold individually. Additional carburetor gaskets are sold separately.

This is an oil filter designed to fit a variety of small, gasoline-powered motors used primarily on lawn equipment. This genuine OEM replacement filter removes contaminants that otherwise would wear down the internal working parts of the engine. While the filter works very well, it should be replaced annually as a part of regular maintenance. Depending on use, the filter may need to be replaced more often. When replacing the oil filter, the crankcase oil must be drained and safely discarded as well. To remove oil from the gasoline engine, start the engine and let it run for a couple of minutes. This circulates the oil and heats the internal engine parts so oil is better able to drain. Next, remove the drain plug located on the bottom of the oil pan and collect the oil. Remember to dispose of the oil safely where it cannot contaminate streams or aquifers. Once the oil has been removed, remove the old filter and discard it properly. The new filter should only be hand-tightened in place as using a wrench may cause the filter gasket to seal to the engine block. This filter will fit Yard Machine mower engines and MTD equipment.

This surface burner infinite switch sits behind the knob and regulates power to the cooktop/range element. Replacing a failed switch restores accurate heat settings so the burner can turn on, modulate properly, and shut off as expected.
