This is an oil filter designed to fit a variety of small, gasoline-powered motors used primarily on lawn equipment. This genuine OEM replacement filter removes contaminants that otherwise would wear down the internal working parts of the engine. While the filter works very well, it should be replaced annually as a part of regular maintenance. Depending on use, the filter may need to be replaced more often. When replacing the oil filter, the crankcase oil must be drained and safely discarded as well. To remove oil from the gasoline engine, start the engine and let it run for a couple of minutes. This circulates the oil and heats the internal engine parts so oil is better able to drain. Next, remove the drain plug located on the bottom of the oil pan and collect the oil. Remember to dispose of the oil safely where it cannot contaminate streams or aquifers. Once the oil has been removed, remove the old filter and discard it properly. The new filter should only be hand-tightened in place as using a wrench may cause the filter gasket to seal to the engine block. This filter will fit Yard Machine mower engines and MTD equipment.

This surface burner infinite switch sits behind the knob and regulates power to the cooktop/range element. Replacing a failed switch restores accurate heat settings so the burner can turn on, modulate properly, and shut off as expected.

This carburetor is a device for supplying a two-cycle engine with a mixture of air and fuel. This part comes pre-assembled and has a plastic choke lever along with a metal body. The primary purpose of a carburetor is to mix the right amount of fuel with air so that the engine runs properly. If enough fuel is not mixed with the air, the engine runs lean and can either stop running or gets damaged. On the other hand, if too much fuel is mixed with air, the engine runs rich, and it either floods, runs poorly, runs very smoky, or wastes fuel. The carburetor is in charge of getting the right mixture. If the carburetor is clogged, the engine will not get enough fuel. It may not start or may run rough. The procedure to replace the carburetor is quick and easy, taking only around 15 minutes, but it is recommended to work in a ventilated area. A carburetor needs fuel to produce the required combustible mixture of air and gas. To get fuel, the carburetor draws the liquid directly from the fuel tank. Any excess fuel will be returned to the tank through the fuel return hose or fuel return line. In addition to providing the path, a fuel line is also responsible for preventing over-pressurization, as well as vapor lock. A fuel return line is constructed from a thick rubber material that is also fuel resistant. However, it may still become brittle and crack due to regular wear and tear. A carburetor gasket is a thin rubber material that provides a seal between two parts. Its primary purpose is to prevent fuel and air leaks. This is a replacement spark plug that is designed specifically to be used with select string trimmers. the spark plug is connected to the ignition module and is responsible for creating the spark that starts the internal combustion engine. Over time, the electrode on the spark plug will wear down. Other issues can also arise that cause the spark plug to foul or stop working. Spark plugs are part of routine maintenance on any engine, but most owners keep a spare or two around just in case of emergencies. In the event that the spark plug is bad, the engine will not start. This is a replacement skid shoe for Craftsman snowblowers. Ideally, when one shoe becomes so worn that it needs to be replaced, the other shoe should be replaced as well.
