My Whirlpool dishwasher has a silver ware basket in the door that kept coming apart. It was driving me crazy. I Google the problem and found this wonderful site. In 2-3 days my sanity was restored. I checked continuity at the float switch since I knew the inlet valve was working when direct wired to 120v. Switch did not have continuity. Replaced switch and inlet valve worked at start of cycle. Read more

Found model number on side of dishwasher. Went online to appliance parts pro. I was very easy to find the part I needed. Part arrived in 2 days. replaced part, took about 20 minutes, not complicated just loosened two clamps and put in new drain pump. Read more

Although I ordered the latch, lever and a new cup and replace the original pieces the dispenser still did not close. On further inspection it turned out to be a small spring that had fallen out of place. Once the spring was reconnected the dispensing cover worked fine. I'm still happy that I replaced the entire assembly with new parts regardless. Discovering the loose spring took the most time. Read more

All parts arrived in one box - I purchased the tub gasket, lower door gasket and lower door seal. My existing parts were visibly pretty worn out, dishwasher is 12 years old (maybe should have just bought anew one?). Tub gasket was pretty easy, it took me a while to make sure it was even all the way around, after attest run and the subsequent drying heat it fits nicely. The homeowner kept getting AE flood code on a 2 yr old LG dishwasher. Changed the gasket at the bottom of the door. ordered the $25 part AP 6236867 and the door seal AP6981193 ($22) for a complete job. Fix went fine, had to pull the dishwasher out to replace flood switch control board was very easy to replace, and fixed the problem. Read more

After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't.
