• Will not fill with water

Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. I figured the valve that allowed water into the dishwasher was bad, or some controlling function of this process. I went online, typed in model number and had a full exploded view of the parts in my dishwasher. I ordered the inlet solenoid valve as the first step to what may be wrong. Found model number on side of dishwasher. Went online to appliance parts pro. I was very easy to find the part I needed. Part arrived in 2 days. replaced part, took about 20 minutes, not complicated just loosened two clamps and put in new drain pump. Read more

All parts arrived in one box - I purchased the tub gasket, lower door gasket and lower door seal. My existing parts were visibly pretty worn out, dishwasher is 12 years old (maybe should have just bought anew one?). Tub gasket was pretty easy, it took me a while to make sure it was even all the way around, after attest run and the subsequent drying heat it fits nicely. After having replaced the drum support rollers twice in a roughly 3yr period, I realized something wasn't quite right, and indeed it wasn't. I had been ordering the wrong parts - I did use the online parts locator after checking, & double checking my model number. Searched the web and determined it was something called a noise filter. Ordered the part from ApplianceParts Pros. Received it in about 3 days, normal shipping. Replaced the part. Took about 15 minutes from start to finish. Problem solved. Cost less than $50. Read more

• Not drying dishes properly

Turned off power to dishwasher. Removed front bottom cover of dishwasher and removed the wires going to each end of the heating element. unscrewed the two nuts holding the faulty heating element in place. Then removed bottmo dish rack and spinning washer arm from inside the dishwasher. Removed old heating element and replaced with new one. Installed in reverse order (tightened two nuts, connected wires, etc.). Turned power on as last step and was off and running...or should I say washing. Read more

This was a very simple repair. It was done in about an hour. It involves disconnecting the dishwasher, emptying the water from the inside, taking it out and flipping it over, and replacing the diverter motor. This repair is done on the underside of the dishwasher, nothing to disconnect inside (just remember to remove the baskets).
