Door, Door Glass & Parts

Removed 3 screws on top of door, 3 screws on bottom if door which released glass front. Then removed 4 nuts on sheet metal window cover to get to window. To get to the broken glass there was one tab on the corner of the window frame that had to be bent upward to loosen the frame. Removed the broken glass, slid in the new glass, re tightened the frame and put everything back together. Replaced the glass. The job took a little more then 5 minutes, But some of the time was cleaning the burned on food. There were no instructions for installing the glass but I found a blow up on line. The install went well. Read more

The plastic door was about 15 years old and the screw attach points failed. I used the part number stamped on the door and looked it up on Appliance Parts Pros. Then used the compatibility feature as a double check. It was a simple fix to reattach using the original eight screws. Read more
