I went on appliancepartspros.com to order glass. Glass arrived but didn't fit. Turns out GE has different part # system that i (of course) didn't know. Called appliancepartspros.com they informed me how this happened and how they would correct it by sending out the correct glass with another order. They would refund my previous order upon return of the glass. They were very responsive, but this shouldn't have happened! Installation was easy, and the oven is good to go. Read more

Removing the oven door, carefully taking it apart to remove the broken panel, cleaning everything, putting in the new glass panel and reassambling took me about an hour. To get to the glass panel takes unscrewing about 20 screws. Not too difficult to do. Assembly is easier than disassembly. Read more

Don't bend the glass even a little! I made the mistake of laying mine on the handle face down when reinstalling the handle because the screws fell out and I bent the glass slightly when tightening the screws. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. I received the part quickly; unscrewed the old door removed it and popped on the new door part and screwed it in. It took no more than 30 minutes to replace. I saved at least $300 dollars if I had to replace the whole microwave. Read more

Very carefully. The official Frigidaire repairman's quote was $250, despite my already removing the door. I complained to the companies customer service answering machine that this is about 40% of the cost of a new stove.
