I went on appliancepartspros.com to order glass. Glass arrived but didn't fit. Turns out GE has different part # system that i (of course) didn't know. Called appliancepartspros.com they informed me how this happened and how they would correct it by sending out the correct glass with another order. Replace cracked, broken, or shattered inner door glass on your oven. Installs between door panels in the window frame assembly. Reuses existing frame.
Removed 3 screws on top of door, 3 screws on bottom if door which released glass front. Then removed 4 nuts on sheet metal window cover to get to window. To get to the broken glass there was one tab on the corner of the window frame that had to be bent upward to loosen the frame. Removed the broken glass, slid in the new glass, re tightened the frame and put everything back together.
