Ordered both parts and got them in 2 days, removed 3 screws on back panel of dryer and removed defective timer , installed wires on new timer and put back in place and installed new knob , very easy repair only took 10 minutes and dryer was back up and running Read more

For about the last month or so the clothes (especially sheets) would just roll into a ball (like a big sausage) the wouldn't dry. Kept readjusting the clothes. I went on the internet to see what the issue could be and found lots of advise about shaking out the sheet and clothes first, using tennis balls, and using fuller or smaller loads. Dryer was leaving marks on clothes. Watched a video on youtube about 5 reasons why that might be happening. I did have a broken baffle on the inside of the drum that maybe was pinching the clothes as it turned. When I took the dryer a top and front off to inspect the other issues and take of the broken baffle I noticed the drum slides seemed worn as the youtube video also mentioned could be a reason. I took the dryer apart. (You Tube video). The issue was a portion of the tension belt pulley wheel had broken off. The drum belt which wraps around the drum and the pulley would make the drum spin off balance, hence making the pounding noise. 1) I changed the belt because the dryer is 10+ years old & it had many cracks. 2) I changed the belt tensioner. 3) I changed the LED light. The original issue with the dryer is that a corner of the lint screen was sticking out of the lint screen guide, and it would not stay flush with the guide. As a result, many tank top straps, waistband strings, and blankets would get caught on this corner and twist, tear, or warp my clothes. • Won't start

All I had to do was remove 3, 1/4" screws from the back and take the front off. Two 5/16th screws hold the circuit board in place, remove them and press the button into the hole from the back. Replace the circuit board, slide the front back on and install the three 1/4" screws. Always unplug the washer first! Read more

Removed old thermostat and pulled old thermocouple fron oven. ran new thermocouple to oven and put in clip, tistalled new thermostat using 2 phillips head screws, done. Read more

I took off the front cover and checked the sensors which were all good. Then I removed the cover for the heating coil after finding that it appeared open. Found that the coil had in fact broken but the break was not visible just by looking in. Located the break in the coil within an insulator near the back. I replaced drum rollers, axle shafts and front bearing kit. Still had noise. Ordered Idler Arm, Belt Tension Pulley & Washers. I ordered parts at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, received new parts at 11:30 am Thursday. The instructions & videos were very simple to follow and provided excellent tips. Back up and running with silence in an 1/2 hour. My 13 year old dryer is running like new again. Way cheaper than calling a repairman. Read more
