I first received the quality parts in less than 2 days. It took me 5 minutes to change out the timer and 2 of the minutes were finding where my fiancée put the Phillips head screwdriver. Unplug dryer first, remove top three screws from back panel. Pull old timer up and out, have new timer in hand and transfer one wire at a time. After taking off the top and front panels to access the drum, it was easy to see what the problem was. The front drum support was worn through and the 3 drum support glides were gone. The rear drum bearing was also completely worn out. And while I had the dryer apart I also replaced the idler pulley and drive belt. The only hard part was putting the drive belt back on the motor shaft and idler pulley. The dryer is back to drying clothes like a new machine. Read more

A quick internet search told me that this was common among this machine, and that a redesigned lint filter/basket was available. Because there was an electrical sensor connector behind the assembly that needed to be detached/reattached, I did have to take the top off the dryer and unscrew the front face as well. From there you can reattach the sensor connection. Relatively easy tepair. Read more

The original issue with the dryer is that a corner of the lint screen was sticking out of the lint screen guide, and it would not stay flush with the guide. As a result, many tank top straps, waistband strings, and blankets would get caught on this corner and twist, tear, or warp my clothes. Removed old thermostat and pulled old thermocouple fron oven. ran new thermocouple to oven and put in clip, tistalled new thermostat using 2 phillips head screws, done. Read more

Ordered both parts and got them in 2 days, removed 3 screws on back panel of dryer and removed defective timer , installed wires on new timer and put back in place and installed new knob , very easy repair only took 10 minutes and dryer was back up and running Read more

Replaced timer, thermostat, a thermal fuse, the pair of thermal cutoff switches and finally the heater element. Hard to say what the final fix was that did the trick -- I am guessing it was the heater element although the old one appeared to have good continuity. I took off the front cover and checked the sensors which were all good. Then I removed the cover for the heating coil after finding that it appeared open. Found that the coil had in fact broken but the break was not visible just by looking in. Located the break in the coil within an insulator near the back. I replaced drum rollers, axle shafts and front bearing kit. Still had noise. Ordered Idler Arm, Belt Tension Pulley & Washers. I ordered parts at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, received new parts at 11:30 am Thursday. The instructions & videos were very simple to follow and provided excellent tips. Back up and running with silence in an 1/2 hour. My 13 year old dryer is running like new again. Way cheaper than calling a repairman. Read more
