The Water Filter Bypass is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It provides an alternative water supply route to bypass the refrigerator's built-in water filtration system. The bypass allows refrigerator water and ice dispensers to operate without water flowing through the installed filter cartridge. 

Causes of a malfunctioning bypass can include mineral buildup inhibiting proper operation of the bypass valve, worn seals or O-rings not providing a tight seal or physical damage.  

Symptoms include:
