I ordered a refrigerator door hinge, hinge pin, and washer. The descriptions and pictures imply that these items are sold separately. However, the hinge I received was an assembly that included a pin and washer. I replaced the original hinge assembly with the new assembly, but the door still sagged (not as badly as before). The very easy diagnosis was motor seizure. Because the machine is about a decade old, I decided to renovate most of the guts. I ordered the door stops (or door cams) for both the fridge and freezer and the hinge bearings. I figured I might as well do both if I'm going to do one. Very easy. Watched a YouTube video. Got a link to the site to order the parts. All you need is a screwdriver and ratchet. Done in 30 minutes. Read more

The plastic bearing broke after 7 years of too much opening and closing. Removing original bears were not real easy, however installing new ones were quick. It works well. The parts arrived really quickly. Read more

• Door won't close

I replaced the hinges and hinge mounts. Upon inspection of the mounts, it seems that they had become slightly deformed on the lower portion, where the heel of the hinge applies pressure to the frame. Probably didn't need new springs, just the mounts, but I just kept em in anyway. Easy fix, anybody can do it, good instructions in the kit. Very pleased with appliancepartspro speed of delivery. Discovered that the old part had broken, preventing the door from leveraging closed into the bearing valley. Metal-on-metal rubbing was also a clue. Pulled the old piece out of the hole (only the shaft remained) and popped in the new bearing. Took all of 10 minutes, and everything works great now. Read more

Emptied the door, removed the top door hinge plate, removed the door, then removed the damaged lower hinge plate and bushing, and then replaced them with the new parts. Everything went back together just fine, and now the door closes properly, and stays closed! Thanks!! Read more
