General Electric Door

Outer door panel assembly for refrigerator fresh food compartment. Replaces cracked, dented, or damaged exterior door panels. Left-hand side design.

This inner door foam assembly replaces damaged or compressed insulation inside the refrigerator door to help restore proper sealing and reduce cold air loss. It supports the door panel and helps prevent condensation and cold spots. What it does:

• Replaces deteriorated or crushed foam insulation inside the door cavity
• Helps maintain consistent internal temperature by reducing air leakage
• Supports and cushions the door panel to reduce rattles and vibration
• Can reduce visible condensation or frost near the door edge when seal is compromised
• Typical symptoms: sagging or soft door edge, visible foam damage, increased frost/condensation, or warmer interior temperatures

• Disconnect power to the appliance before beginning any repair
• Removing the door panel or liner may be required—follow the manufacturer's service instructions
• Handle carefully to avoid tearing the foam or damaging the door shell; use appropriate fasteners/adhesive if specified
