The Evaporator Drip Pan is an OEM part for GE refrigerators. This pan collects condensation and defrost water, preventing leaks and water damage to your kitchen floors.
Causes for replacement often stem from physical damage, such as cracks or holes that allow water to leak out. Over time, the drip pan may also become brittle and more susceptible to damage due to the constant exposure to moisture and temperature fluctuations.
Symptoms of a bad Evaporator Drip Pan include:
- Water accumulation under or around the refrigerator
- Mold or mildew smell coming from beneath the refrigerator
- Overflowing, indicating a crack or hole in the pan
This OEM GE part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.
