This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. • Door won't open or close

The fix involved removing the two bolts holding the broken door stop and bolting in place the new stop. Unless you take the door off, you have to work by feel due to the position of the door stop and the bolts holding the stop in place. A little patience is all that's required. A flip lock designed to keep kids out of cupboards is now in place so the damage won't reoccur. But if it does, its a quick, easy and inexpensive fix. Read more

After changing water filter, flow came to a stop. Would chatter without any water. Confirmed I had flow from the wall supply to the fridge as I broke the water line at the union and let run into a bucket. Then I removed the water filter housing and tube assembly after reconnecting supply. Now the water was only circulating from the wall to the filter housing to the bucket. These gaskets (seals) are friction held in a groove and just pull out by hand. The new ones simply can be pushed back into the groove by using your fingers to go around and work them in. Pull a corner of the old one out and push it back in to see how the fit. The gaskets need warming and softening with a hair dryer to straighten after arrival for correct shape, better fit, workability, and to regain their shape, but this is a simple job.
