General Electric Transformer

This high-voltage transformer supplies the elevated voltage needed for a microwave oven's magnetron so the appliance can heat food reliably. Replaces a failing transformer to restore microwave heating performance. What it does:

• Converts incoming mains voltage to the high voltage required by the magnetron.
• Commonly linked to symptoms such as no heat, intermittent heating, loud humming from the oven, or blown fuses.
• Can fail from insulation breakdown, winding damage, or moisture/age-related wear.
