Replaced filter cap with new one. The minor challenge was to find a method of pulling the filter out of refrigerator (which is normally done by pulling on the filler cap. The filter was recessed to far into the refrigerator for me to be able attach the new cap. I had to find another tactic to remove the filter. We took out all of the parts and wiped them down to remove all of the old grease. The parts were reassembled with the new worm follower gear and added new grease. We had a problem because the new worm follower gear didn't slide down all the way easily, so we had to use a rubber mallet to get it all the way down the planetary shaft. Read more
