Connects the dispenser motor to the ice bucket auger. Replace if stripped, worn, or broken to restore proper torque transfer and smooth ice dispensing.
Removed drip pan from ice dispenser. Removed two screws hidden behind drip pan to loosen bezel at bottom. Carefully lifted bezel off top hook to expose controller board cabling. Disconnected three connectors to control board behind bezel to remove bezel completely. Removed two (possibly three) screws to access the back of the ice chute mechanism. I cleaned the cover and switched the wax motors to see if the clean rinse motor was good and ran a tested cycle. No improvement.
