• Oven not heating evenly

I began by turning off the breaker. I then removed the screws securing the bake element. I immediately noticed only one side was wired and the other side was burned off. The wire for the burned off section had fallen through the hole in the back of the oven. I tried fishing it out to no avail. I removed two side trim screws, the side trim pieces, and two screws holding the built-in oven into the wall. I was able to slide the oven out and onto a square stool that was the correct height. Ordered numerous replacement parts. Started with the tracks which required pulling the washer out of the cabinet to reach the screws. Pushed it back in and re-secured. Then stared on the rack and replaced the rack adjusters and various clips. Everything is straight forward and easy to replace. I originally called a local repair place to have them repair it. • Element will not heat

Replaced the burner Infinite switches for the burners having the issue. Here are the latest part numbers for this model Maytag. Left rear (LR) and right rear (RR) burners are both 6" and use the same switch. Part # WP3149404. Left front (LF) is an 11 1/2" burner Part# W10167742. The right front (RF) burner is a double burner 6" center and 9 1/2" outside burner Part #WPW10149355. Very simple repair. Luckily we planned ahead when building the laundry room, as we built a water catch basin and drain under the washer, but waking up to see 1-2 inches of water is never a good sign - even if it is contained. It appears that a sleeve of a shirt was accidentally caught between the door mechanism and the bellow seal. I replaced the "heating element" which was bad.........as well as the "Thermst-fix" and "Thermal Cutoff" which are located on the side of the element mounting location while I had the dyer all opened up and the element mounting tube removed.......I also replaced the Dryer Thermister which is located on the top of the blower fan.....To get to these parts, you must open the top of the dryer which has spring latches on both sides of the front corners... they need to be pressed in (use a putty...
