I used Fixya as an initial source describing my problem. I got two responses which were very helpful. One that the "coils" were probably the problem. Two, that the problem could be the thermostat or a thermistor in the dryer. I verified that AC was coming from the timing control, that both the two terminal and three terminal coils,the igniter and shut off thermostat all had continuity. I watched a video by AppliancePartPros, and it showed the exact problem that I was having as well as what part that I would need for the repair. First I checked the circuit breakers and power to the outlet, then next wanted to check the lid switch, but it wasn't where I had found it on older models. I noticed the rubber seal (bellow) was damaged near the bottom of the bellow. It looks like removing clothes from the machine had worn away and eventually ripped away some of the seal. This caused water to leak out the bottom of the door. I looked up the model number of my washer on the web and searched for the part number of the bellow. I knew from the loud sound during the spin cycle that the bearings were going out, I ordered a gearcase part number W11455453 (AP6993918) which has the bearings, tub seal, and shaft altogether which makes the repair much easier to complete. I will say you should also order the spanner wrench it makes taking the spanner nut off and putting back on much easier also, part number TB123B (AP6832671). I watched the Appliance Parts Pros repair video and decided to remove the front panel to diagnose the problem. While the repair video is excellent, I could not remove the ice/water dispenser front panel with a putty knife. On my model, 106.56234400, there is no clip that can be released by sliding a putty knife up under the front panel. I've opened sump housing to check for clogging but it was clean. When I removed check valve to inspect it I've found out that the round part of the valve was missing so I figured it might've blocked the water exit at drain hose or something like that. So I pulled the dishwasher out to get a full access to drain hose connector and the pump.
