I began by turning off the breaker. I then removed the screws securing the bake element. I immediately noticed only one side was wired and the other side was burned off. The wire for the burned off section had fallen through the hole in the back of the oven. I tried fishing it out to no avail. I bumped into my KitchenAid dishwasher and the upper rack adjuster cracked. There was already a crack on the notch of the housing where the handle (lever) sits. Remove upper and lower baskets for access. Remove 4 Torx screws holding drain/filter assembly, accessing last screw by rotating the water duct clockwise. Be sure to first un-clip the water duct at top and rear of dishwasher so that it can be moved. (Take the opportunity to remove accumulated deposits behind the water duct). I replaced the Oven Igniter. After ensuring that it was the igniter, by turning on the stove and taking out the oven bottom. Watch if it turns red. If not, then either the wiring is faulty, or the igniter went bad. The bulb was due to a loose and broken light bulb, can't use any normal bulb, these ones are specially made to withstand the heat.
