Unplugged stove. Removed six 1/4 inch socket head screws from back panel. Removed back panel. Removed plug on the back of the OCB. Removed OCB. Used Philips screwdriver to remove four mounting screws (and cracked pieces of the mounting holes). If you can get to this point, installing the new OCB is pretty self explanatory. Read more

Fixed it by replacing the electronic control board. Only 30 min. to fix. (See further down for effort to diagnose the problem.) Most of this "fixing time" was spent removing the control panel to access the control board that is attached to it. My freezer has the control panel located in the top center of the door. Replaced with ordered cover and new screws. Cover was a perfect replacement for original. Replacement took less than 15 minutes to complete. Read more

Removed old label, took the glue residue off, wiped it down with rubbing alcohol then attached the new label on to the fridge. Read more

Ordered replacement part and changed it out myself. Was pretty simple except for the fact that I could not get the trim ring around the dispenser unit entirely off the door. I was able to start at the top and pull it out enough to change part, but was afraid to pull too hard on it for full removal thinking it could break. Unscrew part from door, disconnect wire harness to part, remove, re-connect new part and re-install. Read more
