I chatted with a rep on Appliance Parts Pros and found out which parts I needed for my model of dryer. Ordered the 2 clips that held the door closed. They arrived the next day!! My dryer was very different than the video but we were able to figure out which screws to remove. The old clips popped out and the new ones popped in. Took about 30 minutes because of there being a top and bottom clip to remove and replace and line up the door parts to screw the screws back in. It works great!! I... Read more

After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. After replacing thermal fuse once and having it fail a second time, I had to dig a little deeper to uncover the problem. I checked for blockage in the vent but everything was clear. I did, however, find that the drum had some up and down play in it. After closer inspection, I could see that the front drum seal was actually worn to the point that I could see a gap between the seal and the drum. Viewed YouTube video of AppliancePartsPros.com replacing the agitator to see if I could do it myself. I ordered part from Sears but they never delivered. Cancelled order with Sears, ordered from APP and was sent part within 24hrs by fedex for less than Sears charged. Will only go APP and would recommend APP to everyone. Replaced the water valve. Easy repair. The repair video was spot-on. Tools needed: Slip joint pliers for removing and attaching the hoses and moving the hose clip. 5/16 nut driver. Phone to take a picture so I could get the wires put back right. Shut off the water and unplug from power. Remove the hoses. I just wanted to put my experience here for all to see. I have a Maytag Neptune, MAH5500BWW, one of the original ones. I bought it back in 2002 and it has done many many loads of wash faithfully.
