This is an electronic clock control board that is made for use with ovens and microwave/oven combination appliances. It is located at the back middle of the range and includes a small display window. The control panel is used to manage the oven functions like baking and broiling. It also includes a clock to show the time of day.If the oven cannot be changed from bake to broil, it may indicate the part is no longer working. A test of the heating elements can determine whether this is the case. Before starting the replacement process, make sure the range is not plugged into the wall and the oven and cooktop are both cool. Open the oven door to access the screws that hold the control board. Unclip the ribbon connection before removing the part. Reverse the process to install the new part. The electronic clock control board is sold as a single part. It is an authentic OEM replacement part that is compatible with wall ovens and microwave/oven combos from Jenn Air.
This couldn't have been simpler! Removed the glass panel by taking out 4 screws on the bottom that were accessed by opening the oven door. Lifted up, then pulled the panel forward, released one electrical connection, and the panel was disconnected and could be laid on a flat surface. Unscrewed the four nut screws on the old control board with a socket set (you could use a small wrench, but it would be tedious), un-clipped the wide ribbon connection ( had to pry it off very gently to avoid... This Frigidaire oven range control board and clock are sold separately from the unit. The touchpad cover is also available individually. This control board contains the clock and timer digital display screen. This component is responsible for controlling the heat settings of the baking area and the electric cooktop. When a faulty control board continues active use in an oven, burners may begin to malfunction over weeks or months. Individual burners may work one day, and other days they may fail to power on altogether. This is also true of the baking and broiling functions of the oven. After the board fails, the clock and timer screen will fail to engage. The stove may also power on but fail to power off once the timer has reached its final countdown. On the back panel of the oven, there are rear screws that hold the control assembly in place. Remove these screws and turn to the inside of the stove. There are two anchor screws directly below the control assembly that fasten it to the cooktop. After removing these final screws, pull the control assembly off. Two tiny screws are holding the protective covering of the faulty control board. Remove these screws and disconnect the old control board/clock from the wiring harness. Proceed with the installation of the new component. This part is compatible with Frigidaire and Kenmore appliances. This is a genuine OEM part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Replaced the c/t with a new one I bought from you. It was an exact replacement , price was right. It took about ten minutes to replace and put the stove back together. I already had it apart. Your drawings helped with the disassembly. This is a very easy repair and saved me about $750 by not having to buy a new stove. Just pay attention as you remove the old part and take lots of pictures as you take things apart. I had to install two new wire disconnects because the old ones melted. No big... Read more
