Replaced the ignighter and gas safety valve. Have to remove knobs, front panel and grill housing to access these parts. Read more

Unplugged stove. Removed six 1/4 inch socket head screws from back panel. Removed back panel. Removed plug on the back of the OCB. Removed OCB. Used Philips screwdriver to remove four mounting screws (and cracked pieces of the mounting holes). If you can get to this point, installing the new OCB is pretty self explanatory. Read more

After removing the top rear access panel, I took as-built photographs of the two components to be replaced showing all wires, connectors and screws! The Energy Regulator for the front left burner was replaced first, noting the orientation before pulling off the knob, and removing the retaining screws. I used long nose pliers to gently remove one lead at a time and reconnect to the new regulator. Checked orientation against the photo, reinstalled regulator and knob. Main PCB Assembly was... Replacing head burner d solved the problem. The 8 year old original developed a mild warp, replacing it was the solution. GE gas cook top Model JGP933SEK1SS. I replaced the other burner caps for a cosmetic renewal. Read more

Checking for part replacement.....found your website.....I thought I had the right part, but called the tech/order line. Spoke to a very knowledgable tech, which she checked the stove serial # vs the part I thought I could use. The Tech advised that it WAS NOT and related the findings. Ordered everything from AppliancePartsPros.com and they were helpful, reliable and friendly in our interactions. Can't recommend them more for a vendor. First go get a ton of stainless steel sheet metal screws - about 20 phillips head and 20 nut driver. a drill with a phillips bit and a nutdriver bit and a zip tie and a phillips screw driver and a socket and an extension bit. The most difficult part was figuring out how to take the door off as the manual instructions were not clear. Thank you, YouTube for your help. This door doesn't have the more modern release latches. You open the door all the way and stick Allen wrenches into the holes that appear by the joint of the latch.
