Rear pump housing for the washer drain/pump assembly. Replaces the worn rear housing that supports the impeller and bearing, helping restore proper draining and reduce leaks or unusual pump noises when the housing fails. What it does:
- Houses and supports the pump impeller and bearing, forming the rear half of the drain pump assembly.
- Restores a sealed mounting surface to help prevent water leaks from the pump area.
- Helps re-establish correct water flow and draining when a cracked or worn housing impairs the pump.
- Addresses symptoms such as poor or no draining, water at the base of the appliance, or loud/grinding pump noises.
What's included: One rear pump housing. Install notes:
- Disconnect power and shut off water supply before starting; drain any standing water to avoid spills.
- Remove the washer access panels and pump assembly; transfer the impeller, seals, and any hardware as required.
- Inspect and replace pump gaskets/seals and the impeller if worn; tighten mounting fasteners to OEM torque where specified.

Our Bosch suddenly quit washing the dishes properly after 15 years of faithful service. I observed that there was no pressure coming from the sprayers, and determined it to be the circulating pump. I could reach into the pump from inside the dishwasher and could feel that something was loose in there - the impeller moved when pumping, but I could stop it with my finger.

I looked up my unit and reviewed the schematic drawing online at Appliance Parts Pro. Once receiving the parts, I Pulled out the dishwasher and removed side panels - didn't even have to disconnect anything. Removed broken parts and replaced them with the new - took about 10-15 minutes start to finish.

Removing the door panel was easy -- remove 6 Torx screws, and the panel falls off. Next you need to remove an electrical plug and 2 individual wires from the old dispenser. The plug came right off, but the wires were not easy to access, and they fought me more than I expected. With some pliers and wiggling, they eventually let go and came free.
The dispenser is held in place with 6 Phillips screws through 2 removable metal brackets, and those came out easily. The toughest part of the job...
