After a lot of research, we initially changed out the inlet valve. When that didn't fix the issue, we went back to researching, and saw that it could be the freezer door switch. My 10 year old frig door was hanging down to the point it wasnt fully closing and sealing unless you picked up on it. I ordered a lower hinge bracket, upper and lower bearing, and spacer. My bracket was bent down a little due to my kids hanging on the door when looking at the bottom shelf and i discovered my bracket was held on by only two bolts when there was supposed to be three. Gasket and liner arrived as planned. Clips were a day later. Used "hog ring" pliers to remove the clips, worked great. Pre-punched holes in the gasket did not match the original but the plastic liner did. Used an ice pick to punch the gasket and inserted the clips. This is a chest freezer, so install the hinge side first. Read more

Loosened the top half screws, pulled the old seal out, put new seal in, snugged top screws, repeated process for the bottom. Went well, no problems. Read more
