The circuit board mounted micro switch, to turn the fan on had become non responsive Frans F. • Sterling , VA • April 02, 2019
The only way to repair this problem is to replace the small control panel. Requires 10, 15 and 20 torx head drivers to remove the various screws that secure the hood stack cover, the plates securing the glass hood cover and then the master exhaust fan controls. Make sure the breaker to the hood is off before proceeding. Total time was about an hour but that included cleaning up all of the stainless steel and glass before putting it all back.
