I have used this freezer for ~ 10 years with no problems. We have noticed that frost started forming inside the freezer, so after research, the first step was to replace the gasket around the door. I ordered the part and replaced it, which took about 45 minutes. To replace, I would recommend unscrewing the screws around the existing gasket BUT DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS as that will take extra work. I ran a diagnostics check on the washing machine and came up with the error code E47 -Board thinks the door PTC circuit is open in spin. The washer thought the door was open and would not finish the spin. I was left with a washer full of very wet clothes. This repair was SO extremely easy. There are hex screws keeping the igniter in place. I think they were 5/16...so you have to have a socket wrench. The space is kind of tight, and it's all on the right side, so if you're left handed (like I am) it's going to be a challenge to get the hex screws out without dropping them. ORDERED NEW SUMP AND DIVERTER MOTOR, THE SHAFT ON THE DIVERTER MOTOR FELT A LITTLE ROUGH SO I WENT AHEAD AND REPLACED IT, THE SUMP REPLACEMENT WENT FAIRLY EASY. HAD TO MAKE A TRIP TO THE HARDWARE STORE FOR A HOSE CLAMP. ONE HOSE ON THE SUMP HAS A CLAMP THAT IS NOT REUSEABLE. YOU SHOULD ALSO ORDER THIS CLAMP. IT IS NARROW AND A REGULAR HOSE CLAMP WILL NOT WORK. Read more

While this is a Whirlpool dishwasher, I have the Kenmore Elite version of it. I believe them to be identical for parts. A little background: The first symptom I had of problems was plastic bits from the ball bearing retainer strips in the slides falling out. Then ball bearings falling out. I replaced the supply lines and mesh in-line filters. I made sure incoming water pressure was strong. I also cleared some debris from the internal drain filter down below. The F20 persisted. My plan was to start swapping out parts from the inlet on. I ordered the valve and got it in a day. • Ice maker dispenses too much ice

Replaced ice maker. Some confusion as to which part # it was as the model number cross reference shows the one I purchased was not for my model refrigerator when it actually was. Secondly, a few comments from others said the switch out was simple. Only 3 screws holding in the ice maker although one of the three was in a tight spot . That is technically true. The tray was simple, pick up the old one, pop in the new one. The gasket for my refrigerator was almost as easy. When I received the part I opened it up and let it lay flat for about 3 days (probably overkill). The old gasket popped right out and the new one went in really easy. I had an authorized Whirlpool service tech come to look at problem diagnosed problem as water inlet valve leaking ordered the part. After 11 days I was told part was on backorder from Whirlpool. Our 19 year old Whirlpool dryer quit heating. After checking the thermal fuse, I found the ignitor electrically open. I bought an ignitor at a local store as there was a national holiday the next day and I did not want the dryer inoperative waiting several days for shipping.
