Gasket for upper wheel.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You 2 broken "wheel and mount assemblies" (same side) and a few misc upper basket plastic part were broken   Michael B. • Wellington , FL • December 29, 2015

With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. I just pulled the dishwasher out of its cabinet a little over a foot and removed the 2 screws holding each assembly in place and removed them. The previous gaskets (2 PER ASSEMBLY)... Read more

  • Higher electric bills from the refrigerator running more often
  • Items inside cooling improperly or becoming frozen on the edges
  • Buildup of frost or condensation occurring inside

Color: White

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Intermitten mini explosions in the oven when trying to use   Jerry L. • Canton , GA • December 28, 2015

Troubleshot the oven by checking the broiler which worked good (same fuel valve). After reading the some tips about troubleshooting the Glow Ignitor I could see the broiler ignitor got white hot and the oven ignitor only got bright orange (orange to red causes intermittent ignition or mini explosions). Watched the how to video and it was good information. You should be observant about which openings in the back of the oven as to where the two wires are coming out of. My oven is over 12 years... Kitchenaid Pump Gasket

This seal kit is for the main tub. It goes around the pump housing.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Leaks from around the door and from the pump motor   Samuel M. • Sudbury , MA • January 12, 2016

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Loud dishwasher producing dirty dishes   Leon F. • Sylmar , CA • November 11, 2015

I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). My parts surprisingly arrived next day and for about $40, the dishwasher is quiet and works like new again. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Door seals were cracked and leaking causing temperature control issues and wasting electricity   Mike W. • Canoga Park , CA • December 14, 2015

Ordered new door seals (gaskets) from Appliance Parts Pros. I was able to replace the freezer door seal without taking the door off the refrigerator. (Note: this is an over/under type refrigerator, with the freezer section on top) However, the first attempt at replacing the refrigerator door seal without removing the door from the fridge did not go well as the door appeared "warped" after I reassembled it and would not come close to sealing when I closed it. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The freezer door gasket was coming apart and wasn't sealing properly any more   Leonard M. • Sunnyvale , CA • August 23, 2014

I ordered the replacement gasket and...replaced it. One issue was that the replacement procedure was not at all like the video to which I was directed when I got the gasket. The video showed a gasket with a rigid flange that had to be inserted into the door structure. On my Amana, I clearly had to remove the inner plastic liner and set the gasket under it. This was not particularly difficult but certainly wasn't the same process. Also, I removed the freezer door to do the replacement in... Read more
