Kitchenaid Evaporator Fan Motor W/Harness
Genuine Whirlpool part
By: Whirlpool
Part Number: W11334745

Note: The Fan Motor with Harness also includes the Defrost Thermostat and Thermistor.

Symptoms of a bad Evaporator Fan Motor include:

  • The refrigerator or freezer not cooling properly
  • Unusual noises coming from the fan area
  • Frost buildup in the freezer compartment
  • The fan not running when the refrigerator is on

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Freezer was cold but refrigerator was warm   Susandelong D. • Durham , ME • October 14, 2016

The evaporator fan had stopped working and caused the entire area around it to ice up. No air flow was getting from the freezer to the fridge. I replaced the damper control (it was rusted, not sure if it was workign or not) and the evaporator fan. It was a very quick repair once I diagnosed the problem. The most time consuming part was taking all the compartments apart to get to the affected area. Read more

Fix a noisy or non-working cooling fan in your wall oven. This blower motor circulates air to prevent overheating. Moderate DIY; lifting oven required.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You This was a double oven, the lower cooling fan was making noise   Richard S. • Greensboro , GA • January 12, 2020

It was relatively easy to replace it. Some suggestions: 1. Make a platform to support the oven when you slide it out of the cabinet. Make the platform sturdy because this thing is heavy. Make the platform the same height as the cabinet so that you can just slide it out and back in without having to lift it. 2. The fan is secured with about 5 sheet metal screws plus there are 3 screws on the top that the fan slides under when you loosen them. However you can't fit a screw driver in the space to...
