I first thought it was the auger in the ice container so I changed it and it was not the problem. I then talked to ApplianceParts customer service that it might be the yoke on the motor that turned the auger or even the motor itself even though it worked. I ordered the parts, the yoke was supposed to be able to be changed by itself but mind would not come off the motor shaft so I had to cut it off just to remove it from the unit so I had to change the motor anyway because of this. So save all plastic parts from the old unit including screws. The biggest installation problem was the power cable. I ordered a complete ice maker from appliance parts after watching a few YouTube videos I was sure that I could replace the icemaker. Upon the arrival of the icemaker I removed two screws slid the icemaker out disconnected the wiring harness and replace the icemaker in less than five minutes.
