The parts from AppliancePartsPros.com arrived a day ahead of schedule. (I'm a big APP.com fan.) I removed the metal front door panel, then removed the broken plastic Panel-Facia which houses the handle. Because the buttons and handle trim needed to be transferred from the old Panel-Facia to the new one, I expected that, also being plastic, they may break when making the transfer, so I ordered all of those parts as well, which only drove the cost up about $32. Removed the rusted out fence. Removed the old bracket with the rusted off end stuck in it. replaced the old bracket with the new one and replaced the new fence into the new and old bracket to secure it. Easy fix! Thanks for supplying the parts in a timely manner... Read more

First, I took the whole thing apart and cleaned every spot...the main culprit seemed to be the float. It was pretty gunked up and seemed to be not working...after a good cleaning it was fine...but once I pulled the unit out and checked underneath I noticed the heating element was loose, leaking, and had burnt off the blade connecting ire. Once I located the parts involved in the factory exploded drawing I ordered a cable and spring. Then, when I had the dishwasher pulled out I saw that both cables had simply slipped off of their pulleys and that the door needed to be re-set properly into its drop-down metal studs. Only two screws hold the mount of the pump in the lower left near the floor. Easy access by removing the front covers then remove the two mounting screws to the pump assy. Then remove the intake and output hoses. I noticed on the new pump a male hose bib on the intake. Supplied with the dishwasher was the smooth intake water tube. Best to not reuse this supplied hose. It just won't clamp tight enough for a good seal. Cut a portion from a garden hose the same size as the intake valve bib... Read more

Dishwasher failed to run normal cycle. Would fill and then empty, but would not run through the normal rinse/clean cycle. Determined that the Sump/Motor Assembly needed to be replaced. Dishwasher had to be pulled out to access part. Was difficult to snap into place and had to maneuver several times to get a tight seal before reattaching peripheral components. Ran a one-hour cycle to test for leaks and efficiency before reinstalling unit under counter. Read more
