The hardest part of this repair was a) realizing that the easiest way to clean the oven door pieces is to remove the whole door and b) figuring out how to put the oven door back on. Doing (b) is infinitely easier if you stick two allen wrenches into the holes in the door hinge, but these holes ONLY appear when the door is fully open. We found a video on how to change out the glass and looked fairly easy. My husband, being the skeptic that he is, wasn't on board as readily as I was but we tried it regardless. Removing the oven door, carefully taking it apart to remove the broken panel, cleaning everything, putting in the new glass panel and reassambling took me about an hour. To get to the glass panel takes unscrewing about 20 screws. Not too difficult to do. Assembly is easier than disassembly. Read more
