The Dryer Heating Element Kit is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool dryers. This kit is essential for the dryer's ability to generate hot air needed to efficiently dry clothes. The heating element works by converting electrical energy into heat, which is then circulated throughout the dryer drum to evaporate moisture from the laundry.
Over time, the heating element can burn out or become damaged, leading to a significant decrease in drying efficiency or the dryer not producing any heat at all.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Heating Element Kit include:
- Clothes taking longer to dry or not drying completely
- The dryer running but not generating any heat
- Unusual noises or smells during operation, indicating potential overheating or electrical issues
- The dryer repeatedly blowing fuses or tripping circuit breakers
This OEM Whirlpool part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper and some Kenmore models.
This part fixes the following symptoms
-
No heat or not enough heat
-
Takes too long to dry
