Secures the shock absorber to the outer tub in your washer. Replace if the pin is broken, cracked, or missing to restore proper shock mounting.
With more difficulty and frustration than expected but it works fine now. Things learned: 1. Order only 3 replacement pins. One comes with the shocks that you can't be sure you see in the picture. 2. A circuit board in a plastic box mounted to the floor, left rear, must be removed by two screws to be able to get pliers onto the head of the pin more easily. This helps installation too. 3. A 1/2" deep socket pushed onto the retaining tab of the pin stays there while you pull with pliers from the... Read more

Water supply tube that routes water through your refrigerator to the ice maker and dispenser. Replace if cracked, leaking, or damaged during moving.
Changed the Frigidaire Icemaker Fill Tube Part # 241796405 (AP5671747) about a week ago and so far the Frigidaire Refrigerator seems to work fine. Did not use other ordered parts. Recently ice formed around internal evaporator fan and it started making loud noise when then fan and compressor, etc were running. A long winded history noted below if interested: I have been fighting with this Frigidaire Refrigerator for about 3 to 4 years, started out with the evaporator fan making noise when ice... Read more

Dryer door won't stay closed? The door strike secures the door latch during operation. Quick DIY fix—installs from the front in minutes.
My dryer door would not stay shut because the door strike was stuck in the door catch. I was afraid that when I pulled the strike out, it would damage the catch, so I ordered the door strike and door catch. I got the damaged door strike out with needle nosed pliers in about 15 seconds. The door catch was in perfect condition so I didn't need to use the one I ordered. So then I proceeded to install the new door strike. That took me about 15 minutes because I did not have the manual strength to... Read more
The Dryer Timer Knob is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. It is responsible for allowing users to set the drying time and cycle selection by turning the timer shaft. The knob securely attaches to the timer and provides an easy way to control dryer settings.
Over time, the timer knob can become damaged due to repeated use, excessive force when turning, or wear on the internal connection points. If the knob becomes stripped, cracked, or no longer stays in place, it may need to be replaced.
Symptoms of a bad timer knob include:
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
The old knob was not repairable. I ordered a new knob for the washer dryer stack unit. The order came within two days of ordering and it was the correct part. I was pleased. Read more
Ice buildup in fresh food section or around evaporator? This air handler housing kit stops warm-air leaks that cause frost and temperature swings. 30-min repair.
I removed the fresh food ice maker found the drain tube for ice maker frozen. This was causing the back of the unit to rust out. This also caused the water to run down the back of the unit the into the duct work and into the freezer causing ice buildup. I then defrosted the freezer removed the rear duct work and the freezer drain pan cover. I found the freezer drain was not draining. I removed the exterior rear cardboard cover and located the freezer drain tube removed it and found that it was... Read more
The Door Switch is an OEM part for Frigidaire dryers. This part ensures that the dryer operates safely by only allowing the machine to run when the door is completely closed. Positioned typically at the door frame, the switch activates when the door is shut, signaling the control system that it's safe to begin the cycle.
Over time, door switches can wear out or become damaged, which can interfere with the normal operation of the dryer.
Symptoms of a faulty Door Switch include:
This OEM Frigidaire part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator and some Kenmore models.
By reading the forums I first thought it may be the thermostat. I bypassed the thermostat wiring and the dryer still turned off after a few second of running. The second check was for the door switch. I couldn't find an explanation of how to bypass, so I just ordered a new one to try. It worked. Read more
Replacement tub to pump drain hose for front-load washers. Connects the drum to the pump for water drainage. Replace if cracked, leaking, or worn.
Seems like a poor design-hose developed a leak from rubbing on the support pad beneath it. Pretty easy fix if you follow one of the instructional videos online as far as how to get the front panel off of the washer. You can't change this part from the rear access panel. My washer and dryer are stacked so it added some time to the job. Read more
Replaces cracked, frozen, or leaking ice maker fill tube. Directs water from supply line into ice maker tray. Common replacement for damaged tubes.
This is a 12-inch radiant surface heating element designed for use on a glass-top electric range or cooktop. It sits beneath the glass surface and radiates heat upward to cook food evenly on the corresponding burner zone. Replace this element if the burner fails to heat, heats unevenly, or does not reach the correct temperature when turned on.
I replaced the large surface element first before examining the switch. In hindsight I probably only need to replace the large surface switch. Once I open the back of the control area of the stove the blacked switch and wire made in obvious that the trouble was in the connection and switch. Luckily, I had a new contact to rewire the wiring as the old was burnt badly. After cutting it out and connecting a new one and replacing the switch the problem was fixed. Read more
Replacement oven door glass assembly for electric ranges. Provides viewing window into oven cavity. Replace if cracked, shattered, broken, or missing.

Stabilizes the washer tub during spin cycles. Replace worn or broken rear shock absorbers to restore smooth operation and prevent drum contact with cabinet.
Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Remove the control panel (unplug cable), then remove the spring/wire that holds on the door bellows to the front panel (removing and installing that is the most difficult part of the job) and carefully remove the bellows from the front panel. Then remove... Read more
This high limit thermostat is a safety device that monitors the temperature inside the dryer and cuts power to the heating element if the temperature exceeds a safe threshold. It is typically mounted on the heating element housing or exhaust duct. Replace this thermostat if the dryer is not heating at all or if it overheats - a tripped high limit thermostat often indicates a clogged vent or restricted airflow that should also be addressed.
My Electrolux Frigidaire Gas Dryer stopped working and I got an error code E66 that the thermal limiter blew from over heating. The E66 code stops displaying after the initial code and you will then get a door open message. I replaced the thermal limiter and the thermostat just to be sure which part at the problem. The job is hard because you have to take apart the entire dryer and remove the drum. Would be a tough project to complete on your own. Read more
