Turned off water behind the fridge. Unscrewed housing that covered water lines behind the filter base with a 1/4" socket. Pulled out the water hoses by pulling forward on the blue ring holding the hose while pulling the hose backward. Unscrewed the two screws below the filter base. Used the 1/4" socket to remove four additional 1/4" nuts holding the front housing until it partially dropped. I kept the housing propped on a jar. This was a pretty easy fix. Removed the screws around the perimeter of the inside cover of the door and pressed the outer door cover upward to release it from slots retaining it. There are four wires to remove (2 for the detergent door release and 2 for the rinse agent release). Removed the 6 screws retaining the dispenser assembly and inserted the new one. Reassembly is simply in reverse order. Problem solved for less than the cost of a service technician's call! Read more

Replaced Oven Control Board. I already had removed the old part when I ordered the replacement. Part showed up in 48 hours. It took me about two minutes to install the new part. Tested to make sure it worked, then another 30 seconds to screw the back panel of the stove on. Read more

I first determined that it was probably the starter relay due to the fact both fans would kick on and run the compressor will kick on and run for about 6 seconds before turning off so I called around auto parts stores on Google and nobody had the part so I bought it from appliancepartspros.com got it the next day install the parts which are very simple. Replaced evaporator heater and housing. Just make sure you also replace the thermostat. If not it is a little challenging to get the wires out of the old thermostat/ heater plug into the new plug. Also if you have the same problem be prepared to have a good heat gun to melt the ice buildup around the evaporator and drain hole. The ice build up was so bad that it destroyed the evaporator cover and was leaking into the refrigerator or should I say ice was forming below the evaporator cover... Read more

Unplugged microwave, sprayed lightly with WD-40, grabbed rim with needle nose pliers and was then able to remove metal screw-in portion. Wiped out socket with rag, replaced bulb. Read more
