Since I had to breakdown the entire unit to get to it took the time to clean lint, dust and other buildup from inside and replaced other fuses also. I took the door assembly apart by removing the 7 screws on the inner door and the 2 on the striker. It was really easy to fix. I just took a screw driver and gently pried up on the top of the clothes washer to open up the top. Then the mixing valve was easy to access. Fixed it by replacing the electronic control board. Only 30 min. to fix. (See further down for effort to diagnose the problem.) Most of this "fixing time" was spent removing the control panel to access the control board that is attached to it. My freezer has the control panel located in the top center of the door.
