Had to purchase a new filter as the felt does not feed back into the ridge in the filter. It seems to me that the felt should not pull out so easily. I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did! Check fan operation and was OK. Everything else worked except when microwave was started for a cycle. I looked around on internet and found someone had trouble with the door switches. I started to check door switches and found one shorted. I replaced both lower door switches and it took care of problem. Read more

It was really easy to fix. I just took a screw driver and gently pried up on the top of the clothes washer to open up the top. Then the mixing valve was easy to access. I removed the two screws holding and unplugged the the wires. And pulled the old one free. Then reversed the process to install the old one. Less than thirty minutes start to finish. Read more

I took the door assembly apart by removing the 7 screws on the inner door and the 2 on the striker. I removed the hinge from the washer so that I could place it inside the door when I put it back together. This is much easier then trying to reassemble the door while the hinge is attached to the machine. Once I lined up all of the pieces properly, I screwed it back together and remounted the striker. Fixed it by replacing the electronic control board. Only 30 min. to fix. (See further down for effort to diagnose the problem.) Most of this "fixing time" was spent removing the control panel to access the control board that is attached to it. My freezer has the control panel located in the top center of the door.
