I went to Appliance Parts Pros and watched a few videos. Ordered the door closer plate and door hinge bearing. Removed all of the door bins and contents. Removed four screws total. Lifted the door off of the hinge, replace the two parts on the bottom hinge. Put the door back on the hinge with a little silicone on the new parts. Replaced all of the screws and no more popping. This electronic control board includes the user-facing touch pad display panel and the circuit board that manages freezer temperature settings and functions. It mounts on the exterior of the freezer compartment and allows you to adjust temperature and other settings. Replace this board if the display is blank, unresponsive, shows error codes, or if the freezer is not maintaining the correct temperature despite other components working properly.
I unplugged the freezer, removed the old control board by prying it out with my hands and then pressed in the new control board with my hands. The freezer functioned normally after it was plugged into the wall outlet again.
