The door cables attach to springs that help the user open/close the dishwasher door. I attached the new door cables to the springs then attached springs to the intended mounting locations on the door. However, the new cables were shorter than the originals. This created enough tension in the springs to cause the door to close by itself. I was forced to change the springs' mounting locations. Fortunately, I was able to attach the springs to cut-outs in the door that reduced spring tension. ... Read more

I wasn't sure if it was the door being warped, the spring return being worn, or the rotary damper failing, so I ordered all to update the door mechanism. I also ordered a new micro switch since one of the switches had started to require more and more pressure to actuate. Figured I'd fix it at the same time. Removed the door at the hinge (3 screws). Removed the screws on the inside of the door holding the three sections together. Found one pin on the hinge broke OFF. Ordered parts. Arrived in 2 days. Re-assembled door and hung. Read more

After reading reviews, I went ahead and ordered the complete sprayer arm with the orbital sprayer and the bottom door gasket. It fixed the problem ! So I’m not sure which was needing replaced but I didn’t want to have to wait longer if I needed the other part so I replaced them all that could be causing the problem. The only problem with the whole experience is that 3 plastic pieces should not cost $180 !! Read more

Replaced spark module - oven was less than two years old. Like a lot of new gas ovens, turning on any one burner to 'lite' sends sparks to all 5 top burners. The difficulty was getting to the spark module, as some generic videos show access to it from the upper panel on the back of the oven, but it wasn't there. Had to take off the entire top burner panel of the oven to get to the module, and then it was simple to replace the module by transferring the wires to the new one. I did see on... Read more
